These two poems are very different when it comes to the representation of war, Wilfred Owen’s is about the horror and danger of war and the intensity of a man dying slowly and painfully, yet Curtis Bennett is about how beautiful it is and how nothing else can compare to it. But it doesn’t change the fact that these poems are about the reality of war.
